Parts: An IFS Companion ("Parts", "we", "us") is a self-reflection tool built around Internal Family Systems (IFS). Your inner world is yours. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

What We Collect

Parts collects only what it needs to function:

• Session data — the parts you select, your responses to guided questions, and the letters generated for you. This data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and is not transmitted to our servers.
• AI-generated content — your responses are sent to Anthropic's API to generate personalised replies and letters. This is processed in real time and is not stored by us.
• Subscription data — if you subscribe, RevenueCat processes your purchase. We receive confirmation of your subscription status. We do not handle or store your payment information directly.
• Streak and badge data — stored locally on your device to track your engagement over time.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information unless you contact us directly.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not store your session content on our servers.

Third-Party Services

Parts uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic — powers the AI responses and letters. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — processes payments on iOS. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Parts is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 12. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 12.

Data Retention

Because session data is stored locally on your device, it remains there until you delete the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

Your Rights

Because we don't collect personal data tied to your identity, there is nothing for us to look up, export, or delete on your behalf. If you have questions, contact us at the address below.

Parts is not a medical device, therapy, or crisis service. It is a self-reflection tool. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional or a crisis helpline in your region.
